ARE YOU READY?
Are you ready to meet the Lord? If you were to face Jesus Christ today, what reason would you give Him so that He would allow you into Heaven? Would your reason be . . .
*I am a good person?
Romans 3:23 states “for all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God.” “As it is written there is none righteous, no not one . . .” Romans 3:10. So you see that even our best is as filthy rags in God’s sight. Isaiah 64:6
*God is a loving God; He wouldn’t send me to Hell.
Yes, it’s true; God is a loving God. However, He is also a God of Wrath. John 3:36 says, “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life; and he that believeth not on the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him”. God made Hell for the Devil and his demons, true, but it is also for those who reject Jesus Christ as the ONLY way to Heaven; Luke 16:19-3. Because God is a loving and just God, He will issue the only punishment suitable for rejecting his son, Jesus, who died for your sins.
*I do good works. If my good out-weighs my bad, then I will go to heaven.
Ephesians 2:8-9; for by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God; not of works, lest any man should boast.”
No excuse will be good enough. We are all sinners; God loved us so much that He gave His Son, Jesus, to take the punishment for our sins. Won’t you ask His forgiveness and accept Him as your savior: “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13
